Flutter is basically Google's answer to something like React Native. It's a nice and friendly environment for building cross-platform applications.

About 5-6 years ago Google came out with this new programming language called Dart, which was their hope to replace JavaScript in the browser. Dart looks a lot like JavaScript and it's a typed language that fixes a lot of stuff that's not really good in JavaScript. It's kind of the same idea as TypeScript.

When you create an app, it converts to native code on all platforms, so you can use native stuff on the native platforms.

I think that tools that allow you to build web apps with native tech are great no matter what. But with Google's frequency of killing off projects, you never know what can happen to it in the future.
