devstarter repo - jlp - 09-03-2019

We have a devstarter repo, which was originally meant for my students to work with unreleased code. The repo has turned out to be handy for addin developers too.

The problem: the repo isn't part of any automated process, and it can get out of synch with the codeigniter4 repo.

1) What are you using the devstarter repo for?
2) How can we keep it better synched with the main repo?

RE: devstarter repo - AndreiCurelaru - 10-16-2019

Hi,
since i'm back diving into CodeIgniter I always use the "devstarter" as i (maybe wrongfully) take it as an appstarter but with the newest version of CI in it, instead of some official more stable tagged releases.

Concerning the purpose, is to re-learn the new CI and see how i can adapt it to my projects or extend some other parts, to make it be my "go to" framework when it comes to realworld php projects.

That said, i think i'll soon take a look at the rest of the available repos to see what's about, as i can't answer the 2) question (thought the repo was indeed synched).
