CodeIgniter 4.0.0-rc.4 - kilishan - 02-06-2020
CodeIgniter-4.0.0-rc.4 launches today
This is a pre-release of 4.0.0. It is not suitable for production! (but it is the last release candidate)
Highlights:
- Fixed url systems so that it would work when system is served out of subfolders.
- Added required insert ignore support for sqlite3 and mysql.
- Add validation function `is_not_unique`
- Various improvements and cleanup to the Email class

This is our fourth (and final) release candidate! We have fixed the blocking bugs, and beefed up some of the troublesome areas. Let's find and put to bed any last bugs!

NOTE: The devstarter package has not been updated just quite yet. It looks to be a separate step I haven't quite dug into just yet. Will hopefully get that updated tomorrow. If you find any bugs in the release process please let me know, I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around all of the steps Jim put in place.
Do NOT post support questions or feature requests in response to this thread - those will be deleted. Instead, use the appropriate CodeIgniter 4 subforum. We are trying to make the best of the limited resources that we have!
