sounds hard, especially about games.. thats my dream to become a game dev, but physics is also a tough subject for me, seems like its time to expand

Can be math useful for coding? Absolutely yes. But I think thats an option, not a mandatory thing.
IMO thats more about thinking, not just formula and rules knowledge which were hard to learn.
