VIRUS reported after Chrome update this morning! [SOLVED] - InsiteFX - 04-10-2024

Ok, I do not usually ask questions on here but this morning I got an update to Google Chrome,
Now when I go to Download the CodeIgniter 4 Development from GitHub it is saying that it has a
VIRUS!

Trojan:Script/Wacatac.H!ml

I think the Windows Update may be at play here.

This is the CodeIgniter 4 file path were it says the virus is in.

UPDATED:

CodeIgniter 4.5.0

C:\xampp\htdocs\admin\app\Views\errors\html\error_exception.php

Where does the Wacatac.H!ml come from?

Yes I read that also.

But every time I use Chrome to download CodeIgniter 4.5.0 from the Development branch this
is what I get.

Scanned with different anti-virus programs and it finds none!

UPDATE 04-11-2024 8:20 am EST;

I searched the web and Docker is also getting these errors!

So it may be a false flag.

GitHub Desktop downloads it fine with no errors.

Well it looks like this is a false flag virus I scanned with 3 other anti-virus programs and no virus.

So Windows is throwing a false flag on this virus just look at all the people getting it now.

But I will keep an eye open on this one.

Update 04-26-2024:

This was a false flag from either Windows 11 or Chrome updates, it has now disappeared!
So no Virus Threat.
