The goal is to get back to just one. The current autorouting has a lot of security issues (see our latest hotfix releases) and is being disabled by default. We are leaving it as an option so as not to...

Post: CodeIgniter Reception

Hi all- I keep a finger on the pulse of the larger webdev community. CodeIgniter gets a real bad reputation, presumable due to how long CI3 held onto “legacy processes”. Here’s a particularly poignant...

    Thread: [5.0] Model::paginate()
Post: RE: [5.0] Model::paginate()

I would love to see a lot more iterators in the framework, especially in the middle layer between the database and everything else. We are doing way too much heavy preloading instead of yielding, like...

Might be something to consider, the problem is that “chunking” is handled by the frontend and while there are some standards forming (like TUS) they aren’t universal yet. You can check out my File...

I don’t think payment handling will ever be a part of the framework core, but you should be able to use any PHP library with CI4. I have a library for integrating Stripe’s SDK: https://github.com/tatt...
