Hey all
I'm probably doing a site in the near future for an American gaming clan. The site will feature all the usual clan stuff, like user logins so that they can post stuff, comment etc, download files etc. But they'll also need some forums. The site login needs to be integrated with the forum: so now I'm wondering: does anybody know some simple forum software that could be easily manipulated to work with CI?
I could offcourse wait for EE2.0 and convince them to buy a license with the forum addon, but I don't know if the other functionalities (like the roster etc) could be easily implanted... I've never worked with EE before.
But I guess, since EE2 will be based on CI it'll be easy to add stuff to it. Is there a timeframe for the 2.0 release?
