Choice of WYSIWYG-editor

Biggest problem with NicEdit is that it does not output valid XHTML.
I really need the contributed content to validate...

As far as Image-handling go, I prefer to not mess with it in my WYSIWYG-editor...
I have not seen any (so far) that handles it good.

I know, I'm picky about my content... Smile

Wow, I never knew of half of these WYSIWYG editors, I just knew about TinyMCE and FCK Editor lol
Now to just think of a case where I need one so I can utilise my knew knowledge of them Smile

NicEdit could go in your PMS. It's very lightweight and if you are only handling basic markup then it would be the best match and its lightweight as hell.

You're right, how did I miss the most obvious place for such a thing lol (I'm still half asleep I think)
Looking at the NicEdit demos, looks very nice and lightweight Smile

For a XHTML strict format I have worked with xstandard lite (http://xstandard.com/en/downloads/ ) , Its excellent but it doesn't have a image manager (until you pay )

If you try it, you will need the following guide about cuztumize the tool bar:

I like SPAW, it creates valid code, has a good File Manager and works with CI well.

Check out my blog post about it <a href="http://sheldon.lendrum.co.nz/codeigniter-spaw-editor-tabs_411/10/">Code Igniter, Spaw and SPAW Tabs</a>.
