Capturing IP Location details

I need to capture IP of the user along with the Geo Location details when user submits the form. Plz help

Thanks, thats really useful, this needs that we need to have updated db to work.
Is there any geoip locator online through which we can fetch the location details by passing the user ip as parameter.

There should be some webservices providing such a service. I'm have not used them though.
A google search lead me to this : http://www.fraudlabs.com/ip2location.aspx

This is called "GEO targeting", you might find interesting stuff googling that term.
