Hi,
I've been using CI for a couple of years now, and I really like the database class. I'm currently working on a small tool and I would like to write some stuff to the database but I don't want to do it the old fashion way.
Is it possible to use the Database class seperatly(with the active record class, etc. )? And if so, how can it be done?
I really don't need any other features of CI for this small project.
If someone could point me in the right direction it would be great!
