How may contributors are involed in CodeIgniter ?

Hello!
I am doing a study about PHP frameworks. I would like to know how many active contributor are involved in the CodeIgniter framework development ?
I would like also to know how many releases have been published for the last two years ?

Not entirely correct and acurate. The Ellislab list for example lists people with access to the repo, which doesn't mean they are related in any way with Ellislabs.

The contributor list (that is, all people who's commits have made it to the repo, so that includes both accepted pull requests and people with write access on the repo) can be found here: https://github.com/EllisLab/CodeIgniter/contributors
