I have been practicing with simpler projects lately and feel I can start gathering info for my dream project, I will need to store vast amounts of text data, but be able to get at it sentence by sentence with reference to where it is from.
When looking into storage of large documents in databases its seems I would need a noSQL so what advice can you give me about learning about the different ones... What other Databases work well with codeigniter?
Casandra ? CouchDB ?
Please share your knowledge about this so I can save days of reading and still get it wrong.
I could start by using MySQL that I have now, but I hear it is hell or impossible to change later.
