CI-based Web Sites Performance
#41

Hey guys, I added a little 'Further Notes' section to benchmark a few other little things (objects vs arrays for db results)... and how much faster serving a raw index.html of the same content is. (scary fast)

While these numbers look great, none of the results other than baseline (50 req/s) relate directly to CI's performance and any script/server will benefit from using caching.

That could hardly be called optimising an application, Optimising your server perhaps.

I tried for a month to use Kohana that claim to be faster, but unfortunately, it is not. Maybe it is on the benchmark of some code, but the user feeling looks like it's heavy to load, I came back to CI then.[/quote]

I would like to ask you if you tried the last version of Kohana. What is your opinion about its speed now?
