I think it will be great if this forum had a notification system for replies on the threads that you have replied to. I found this on the mybb forum : http://community.mybb.com/thread-119331.html
I understand that one can subscribe to a thread but it would be great to have a automated notifications for replies on threads where I've been active in.

That was the default setting originally, but we had complaints and set the default to not notify.
Can't keep everyone happy!

This should be a setting in your user control panel, under "edit options"... the "default thread subscription mode" dropdown.
