CI/HTML Form Question

I've noticed when using the CI forums and i start to post a new topic for example, if i hit back in the browser, then forward, it 'remembers' what i had began typing in the form fields.

Probably simple, but how do i enable this behavior in my applications?

AFAIK this is a browser feature and not a special CI feature.

I dont think so, but i could be wrong.

I'm thinking it's some kind of cache control which is set on the applicatoin side?

I notice this seems to be the default behavior with ASP applications?
