This subforum is intended to be the definitive roadmap for CodeIgniter 4 - showing where we are, and the intended upcoming development.

Feature requests still get made, discussed and debated in the Feature Requests subforum. This subforum shows those that are likely to go ahead, each with a poll associated with it. These polls are to collect community feedback about the importance of a planned feature, which will inform the development activity.

Off-topic posts, or attempted thread hijacking, will not be tolerated.

Do we have a roadmap for new version or a release policy? I think this is important for developers who should feel safe using CI4 in real world projects.

Next version is imminent! I had a minor operation last weekend that kept me from my desk, but hopefully sometime this week we’ll get it out.
After that we are committing to more frequent releases, but not a specific schedule. See the poll in the Discussion forum for more details.
