FTP Class question

I need to upload a set of files from a server to other servers. Obviously I need to automate that process somehow. A friend pointed me to the FTP Class user guide page.
I would like to know what modifications should be made in order to upload multiple files not just one as shown in the examples.
I am opened to any other suggestions.
