Rss feed creation probs

Hi friends,

I m using ci for my application. i tried to create an rss feed...in my controller
but it showing the following error..
*XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity
*<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>-^
can one guide me how to create rss feeds from controller itself?
