v1.7.0,MySQL DB driver and extended char ?

Hi,

I have migrate from version 1.5.4 to version 1.7.0.

All seems to work greatly except for accentuation when I try to store extended character in MySQL.

In fact with car like é è à..., the DB now returns an error :

Code:

Error Number: 1366

Incorrect string value: '\xE9ffdf\xE9...' for column 'remarque' at row 1

I don't change anything in my code... If I replace the database Driver files in C.I 1.7.0 version by database driver of the 1.5.4 one, it works !?

Is it something to change in CI configuration about charset or is it a know bug with new DB Driver?
