Creating Subdomains with codeigniter

Hi all,

I am new to this forum, I am using codeigniter to build a CMS type application. I am having a proiblem in virtually craeting subdomain in codeigniter, if any body knows it please help me out.


eg.
The exact url is
http://www.XYZ.com/clients/dol1/parish/w...silica/2/1

I want to write it like
http://St._Peters_Cathedral_Basilica.XYZ...parish/2/1

here the St._Peters_Cathedral_Basilica is passing to the controller as a parameter to the function.

Please help me.
