Codeigniter CI_DB_mysqli_result Problem

Yeah Im looking into these things.

I think its my hosting personally, Its wierd though that I can only get CI to connect to the database if I say

$db['default']['dbdriver'] = "mysqli";

yet phpmyadmin says mysql dont you think?
