That codeigniter is independant enough to run on my Netware 6.5 machine?
Forgive my ignorance here, so far as running what seems to be a now obsolete platform.
After my second year of comp sci. I burnt out and dropped out but would like to get back into the webdev game and this seems to offer what I need.
Is codeigniter offered on any mainstream hosting packages? In essance I just want to fiddle in a testing environ before making concrete choices for a hosting package or worse, coughing up a distgusting amount of cash for an IP address rental($300/m from Shaw).
Furthermore, did the premise of open-source evaporate since I have been gone. I read today that Internic's choice product "Zend" was and will always be "free" but they want min 1 year support contract for a server license and I'd have to ditch what I know and like.
