BUG #696, closed but not commited???

Hi,

I've experienced the situation that lead people to open the #696 BUG (https://github.com/EllisLab/CodeIgniter/issues/696). There says that the solution was found and would be commited to the project's trunk, but, even in the last version of CI, the solutions is not implemented.

Can anyone tell me why it's not commited yet and in wich version this solution will be avaiable?
