This topic gets kicked off the list when a user posts to a different topic,
is there any way that we can keep it current in the Forum Topic list?

It is "sticky" in the announcements subforum, but the portal shows just the most recent threads/posts, so it will drop off that until someone posts a reply/comment. I am unaware of a mybb plugin to keep it on the "hit parade" across the board, sorry.
