Connecting two database

Hi,

I am using codeigniter, now i need to write a query such that it has to fetch data from two tables from two different database.
Please let me know.

My old colleagues wrote a quick guide on how to use master/slave database setup on there blog a while back.

The process would be the same for you as it technically is just 2 databases. You can rename "master" and "slave" to whatever you would like.
