Btw, forgot to mention in my last post, now that I can see the styles
Looks pretty nice, although I think you should release it with a light and dark stylesheet, as dark may not be for everyone

there's only 4 colors set, pretty easy to change, :%s/#colorcode/#colorcode2/g in vi, i'll probably make 2-3 different styles though. i'm severely lacking in the visuals talent/skill area so it wont be anything too spectacular, the whole idea behind writing my own forum was having something simplistic and flexible as far as functionality and the interface. i tried "dipping into ci" with vanilla and smf, but i just couldn't get what i was looking for. what's live is about 2-3 worth days of coding, i just haven't had the time until now to really try and knock out the rest.
