I have a strange problem with one of my sites, basically the web hosting company installed a Apache security fix and now running functions such as getimagesize() do not work as the server will not serve the image (404 or 406) as the image is not been called by a browser???
I have had the same issue with file_get_contents().
Has anybody ever seen this before, it seems strange as it is such a basic and useful function?
