well, the first "free code" is your password to this forum.
If you are looking for source-code you might wanna check out Bamboo Invoice (in the wiki I think) which covers alot of ground.

Most important of all: read the userguide (all of it, many times). It covers everything you need to cover the basics of coding using the CI-framework.
