CSS and JS files not loading

Possibly, Code igniter seems to get along a little better with php4 than php5 in my opinion.

Well, I tried the above suggestions and they still don't work..
I checked the source code for the page (in the browser) and it looks like some of the PHP isnt being executed. Maybe that could be the problem?

Most likely. A simple display of a CSS file should not have to be this complicated. The problem is more regarding WAMP than Code igniter itself or so it would seem.

Try adding Inline styles to an HTML file to see if it works and parses out fine.

What other servers can I use other than WAMP? I really dont want to have to configure/install apache/php/mysql individually.

Not sure you're still looking HooJee, but I use AppServ for my local development server.
