You could always take a look at Magento. TradingEye, I think, is around 300GBP - however, there is a localhost development license available that would allow you to present the project for further funding. In my experience unless you have a solid development background and a clear roadmap and the time to execute the development, a self built solution will never come to completion. All too often the case when us tech heads get romantic about the development and completely ignore the business case. |
