When CI 3.0 stable version relase ?

The frameworks you mention are vastly more capable and have more features than CI.

You can't really compare Apples to Oranges.

Also, how long has CI3 been in "development"?  Will we actually see it in 2015?

If I was in-charge of this.  I would stick a fork in CI 3.  I would backport any reasonable updates to the framework and release 2.3 and draw a line under the whole sorry mess.

Start afresh with CI 4.0 and move on.

100% agree. That's like saying a BMW 3 series has a lot more "issues" than a Model T ford. That's great!

I'm not saying we have more or less issues than anyone else, but it would be nice if there were a more clear path of what's going on. I know people have been working on the CI3 session library which is awesome, but there isn't much of a "to do list" or "what's left" anywhere to be found. I'm confident if there were a portion on this website that had some sort of a checklist of things that still needed to be done, you might get some more developer feedback and support from the community.

I know some developers have attempted to reach out and help on GIT, but they weren't very "welcomed"
