Encoding Issue????

Varchar/Text Data in my MySQL DB looks like this:

8’ – 20’, allowing max 10% 6’-7’. Min. avg 11’ or better.


Codeigniter output looks like this:

8’ – 20’, allowing max 10% 6’-7’. Min. avg 11’


Thoughts?

double check to make sure they are apostrophes and not the back tick (button above Tab key on most 102-key keyboards), or a Mac character (slanted apostrophe).

They are apostrophes as I typed them in myself.

I can call these outside the CI framework through a normal mysql_query type call to the DB and they display fine.
