Creating html templates

Can i still create templates to run dynamic html pages while simply using CodeIgniter as an php include? i.e, <?php include 'header.php';?>

Thank you for your reply Colin. I found the answer to my query ..'Controllers' & 'Views' can resolve the issue by Adding Dynamic Data to the View . It's fantastic! Thanks Again.
