Hi my name is Javier Giron, i am new using codeignter, for me is one of the best frameworks and very easy to use. actually im doing a aplication for a insurance, then we have that use a ORM, and i saw this, http://stensi.com/datamapper/pages/toc.html, my question is the next..
Is this a official documentation from the codeignter web?

Hi Javier,

All ORMs for CodeIgniter are not developed by EllisLabs (the creators of CI), so there won't be any 'official' documentation except what the creator of the particular ORM maintains.

You should be aware, however, that your linked version of Datamapper is no longer maintained by its creator. Instead, Phil DeJarnett created Datamapper: OverZealous Extension (DMZ): http://www.overzealous.com/dmz/

It has all the features of Datamapper, many bug fixes, and much expanded features - all while having the same or better performance, and it is very actively developed. I can personally testify to it being production-ready, as I have 2 significant online projects that use it and I've yet to come across a significant bug. It also has some nice extensions to make life easier, too
