How to set a automatically base url?

my page is not available online.
i workd if i hard code the <img> src to “http://www.mysite.com/images/myimage.gif”?
but does not work for “/images/myimage.gif”.

Do you still have a &lt;base&gt; tag in there? Try removing it.

i tried that way too by removing the base tag but still the same problem persists
