I'm pulling my hair out over this and am starting to think there's a bug or I'm completely misunderstanding something with form validation.
I've create a custom callback function to do a custom verification on a telephone number. I'm passing a parameter to the function as well. This works fine, but for whatever reason, if the field I'm trying to validate is blank, the parameter does not get passed to the callback function. However, the callback function is still being called. This is creating a real headache for me and doesn't seem to make sense.
Is this normal operation?
