Auth

I see better points being made by those that do not think an auth system should be included in CodeIgniter and I see many questions being raised that those who do want an auth system refuse to answer.

Here's a few more for y'all to ignore. There are many more, but these are the ones that pop into my head this morning....

Will CodeIgniter now come with controllers and views beyond welcome.php?  Or will the controllers/views that handle such things as logging in, logging out and password resets need to be copied into the CodeIgniter directories after install?  If they come with the CodeIgniter install and I do not want to use the auth system, will directions on deleting these files be part of the CodeIgniter installation instructions?

I assume user information will be kept in the database?  Will the creation of the user table be part of the CodeIgniter install now, or will there be a page in the User Guide with the table creation SQL like with ci_session?

Using Ion Auth, which seems to be one of the most popular CI auth libraries, as a comparison, what will the native CI auth lbrary have that Ion Auth doesn't already have?  What will the native CI auth library get rid of that is deemed unnecessary in Ion Auth?  ( I can assume that the people asking for an Auth library have already tried the most popular libraries and found them lacking, right? ...right? )

Installation of Ion Auth involves copying files to the CodeIgniter directories and running a db script.  How will the install of a native CodeIgniter auth library be easier or more difficult?

If a security hole is found in the new CodeIgniter Auth library, how do you think it will affect the project as a whole when the headlines read "Security flaws found in CodeIgniter PHP framework" rather than "Security flaws found in SomethingAuth authentication library"?
