Timeout waiting for output from CGI script

HELP i made this website and works perfectly in localhost testing,
When i upload it to the provider, after a few requests, it crashes fatally in loop with this error log:

[Thu Apr 19 16:54:16 2012] [warn] [client 93.67.34.74] Timeout waiting for output from CGI script /web/htdocs/www.mywebsite.com/home/index.php

[Thu Apr 19 16:52:40 2012] [error] [client 93.67.34.74] Script timed out before returning headers: index.php, referer: http://www.mywebsite.com/index.php/

Someone has any idea or suggestion of what the problem is?

Do you have database settings set correctly?
Do you have .htaccess on your web root?
Have you tried contacting your provider?
Maybe it has something to do with the php/apache settings on your local and on the server

hi my provider is aruba, and i'm starting to argue the service is not the best.
Anyway after i removed the log history from codeigniter options, the website went faster
and it stucks no more.

Maybe there is a bug in codeigniter logging?

I'll write here if the problem comes out again!
