[split] Validation in models

Now that CI 3 addresses the session issues (thank you) , my wish list contains (in order):

Validation in models, like Jame Rumbelows sample model
Restful Interface, perhaps based on https://github.com/chriskacerguis/codeig...restserver
Queueing system, that can use sql, or redis.  E.g. an email outbound queue. Maybe like larvae's
A bit more general guidance documentation around the use of form helpers and form validation.  I made lots of mistakes in this area.
