CodeIgniter 4 Proposed Roadmap

I can only hope this would be the one big compatibility breaking release for a couple of years, just to catch up with current PHP standards.
I understand that at some point you have no other choice but to do some code refactoring. BUT, promise you won't go the Joomla way (let's rewrite and break everything every 18 months just for fun)
