#1

(This post was last modified: 11-28-2015, 12:51 PM by mstojanov.)

Hello.
I have some doubts i want to use https://github.com/Vheissu/CI-Plugin-System in a commercial project which will sell on Envato website.
Does this licence OSL 3.0 allow my app to be sold with this library?

Thanks,
Any help will be appreaciated.

IANAL, but http://opensource.org/licenses/OSL-3.0 seems to suggest you are good to go as long as your derivative work is also OSL 3.0. I see that that library is intended for use with CI2, which is now EOL. You might want to consider upgrading to CI3, and the hooks (http://www.codeigniter.com/user_guide/ge...hooks.html) might provide similar functionality.

I'm using CI3 version and this library works fine with CI3. I just made some little fixes, as i saw in the licence description that i'm allowed to change the code, right?
http://www.codeigniter.com/user_guide/ge...hooks.html are more used to modify the core files i think. I want to implement additional Plugins/Modules in my application thats why i need this.

Thanks for the reply.

Quote:2. I included it and I am getting lots of errors.
You did something wrong or your server sucks or I am just in denial that there are any issues with this library.
