Codeigniter is not a CMS and its not an e-commerce solution. Its one of the best frameworks that allows you to build great high-performing stable e-commmerce solutions.

Codeigniter is simply one of the tools you need to learn to be a successful developer. Always add more tools to your coding arsenal!
