1. As a backend Theme you can use AdminLTE.
2. Use deleted-flag in the tables.

I appreciate the suggestions.  

Quite honestly, I don't care for any of the premade bootstrap admin themes.  At this point, they are pretty bloated and antiquated and load a bunch of js I just don't need and wouldn't use.  I used the base admin theme from getbootstrap.com for the base of the admin theme, it's simple, I can add what I want without extricating hundreds/thousands of lines of code I don't need.

I always forget about the deleted flag...  but it's still in alpha so I can add that...  Thanks for the reminder.

Well, I guess it's more of a live example, but it's the latest dev running on a live server. Still more to do, but it is working well and surprisingly fast.

It looks like it's time to freeze new features and begin beta testing.

I last posted in mid jan.

OB is up to beta 5 (https://github.com/enlivenapp/Open-Blog-3) and updated to CI 3.1.4.  There's still some things to be done, but work is pretty busy so I'm working on it as I can.

Thanks to the folks who've translated for me.  There's lots more to translate though.
