It seems like only www.codeigniter.com points to this site while codeigniter.com still redirects to EllisLab.

I've also noticed that DuckDuckGo has broken url, https://duckduckgo.com/?q=codeigniter

That is their error, and should be reported to them.

Should it? There are separate A records for www.codeigniter.com and codeigniter.com... did you update both?
