I agree with you about WordPress being bloated but for me who has a busy schedule sometimes quick and easy is the best solution until you can get or create what you really want. Besides, I think that it will help the CI community regardless of what it is developed with. There is nothing wrong with starting off with WordPress with the idea to eventually move to CI. Trust me, I really thought about it. I have a plate full of projects that I'm trying to complete (I've just completed 3 of them this week). |
