remove index.php

Hi,I am new in codeigniter .
my problem is to remove index.php from url on localhost windows but i tried what is in documentation but no way.
please help me.

Go to
app >> Config >> App.php there is something like index_page = "index.php"

Remove the index.php and let it be empty
