I saw that the Cart Library in CI3 was removed.

Is there any that you currently recommend?

There are literally dozens of very competent shopping cart libraries for PHP out in the wild. That's the reason none exists in the new CodeIgniter.

Find something that's still being maintained and works with PHP v7.2+ and you should be golden.
