404 error
#1

Hi,

I've setup Codeigniter v4 on a dev website.  I've been getting odd 404 errors depending on what device I'm on or what internet provider I'm connected to.  Here's the breakdown on navigating to any page on the site.

Windows laptop on home cable internet wifi, Chrome browser - 404 error.
Mac desktop on home cable internet wifi, Safari browser - Page loads OK.

iPad on home cable internet wifi, Chrome, Safari browser - Page loads OK.
Android phone on cable internet wifi, Chrome browser - Page loads OK.

Android phone on tmobile internet, Chrome browser - 404 error.
Mac desktop on tmobile internet, Chrome browser - 404 error.

So it's all over the place.  The only consistency it seems is if I am on the tmobile internet, I always get 404 error.
The 404 error is the generic 404 from the browser, not the CodeIgniter 404.
Any ideas ?  Thanks for any advice.

The site does not use HTTPS and only some old forgiving browsers use HTTP.

Search and install LetsEncrypt which is a free application for installing HTTPS.

Also check the following link and clear all the errors:

.dev forces you to use HTTPS, you need to install a certificate or choose another local development name.
