Using Redis Data Store

Dear Team,

We are having challenge in using the Redis for storing our data . 
We have found some help as pre configured client by making changes in the Config/Cache.php

Now in the Controller we are not sure how to access the $redis methods and class. 
If someone has already established a connection with redis in CI 4.x version .
