Pros of codeigniter over laravel
#1

I recently started using and loving codeigniter about 6 months ago. the main reason I chose it over the popular framework, laravel is because, before, I didn't have access to composer, which was a requirement for laravel.
Now, I have almost completed about 30% of my CI4 project and finally have access to composer and I'm having a form of wondering whether it is worth switching over to laravel due to how immensely popular it is and the vast number of resources for it you can find comapred to CI4. Not t mention the ease of finding quality laravel develeopers
Basically now, I want to know some pros of staying with codeigniter rather than porting my project to laravel.

Probably the acid test is are you developing something directly for a client or , an "recruitment agent" is involved.

Those that recruit don't know the difference between Java and JavaScript and just follow "trends" because they know nothing about coding . Lets put this in perspective
plenty of people that do web sites swear by Wordpress and clients won't probably know anything as long as it works. There also seem to be one or 2 CI3 sites out there that haven't been brought down, so if your running with CI4 which is pretty cutting edge with php , then hosting won't be a problem.

There's plenty of libraries out there for CI4 via https://packagist.org/ so as long as your working for a client and not an agent then stick with CI4
CMS CI4     I use Arch Linux by the way
